LAHORE: Son of Dr. Sarfaraz Naeemi has appealed to the people to remain calm and maintain peace after the suicide attack which killed four people including the Principal of Jamia Naeemia Dr. Sarfaraz Naeemi here on Friday.
The appeal came after the deadly suicide blast which enraged the Lahore people.

LAHORE: Several casualties are feared in blast at Jamia Naeemia, Geo News reported Friday.
The blast occurred after the Friday prayers when the people were making their way out of the mosque after offering the Friday prayers.
Jamia Naeemia principal Dr Sarfraz Naeemi was present at his office at the Jamia Naeemia, the eyewitnesses said.
The blast was so powerful that the outer wall of the Jamia Naeemia Masjid collapsed.

martyred and six others injured in a suicide blast at Jamia Naeemia situated in Garhi Shahu area of Lahore, Geo News reported Friday.The blast occurred after the Friday prayers when the people were making their way out of the mosque after offering the Friday prayers. A lot of people were present in the mosque at the time of blast.
Jamia Naeemia principal Dr Sarfraz Naeemi was present at his office at the Jamia Naeemia at the time of blast, the eyewitnesses said adding he was meeting with the people and students at his office; in the meantime, the suicide bomber blew himself up.
The suicide attack injured Dr Naeemi and his close aide Maulana Khalilur Rehman and other people present at the office.
The blast was so powerful that the outer walls of the Jamia Naeemia Masjid collapsed and he nearby buildings were harmed in the blast.
The injured Maulana Naeemi was rushed to Kiran Hospital; however, he succumbed to the injuries on the way to the hospital. The deceased include his close associate Dr Khalilur Rehman. The other deceased could not be identified.
According to hospital sources, all the injured are out of danger.
The students of Jamia Naeemia got infuriated in receipt of news of Dr Naeemi’s death and went on rampage. They victimized the police troops and media personnel. However, the office-bearers of Jamia Naeemia and police high-ups advised patience to them and appealed them to stay calm.
Police took the head of the suicide bomber in custody; he was aged 18 to 22 years.
Allama Dr Sarfraz Naeemi is one of the renowned scholars of the country. He was the son of former Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and founder of Jamia Naeemia Mufti Muhammed Hussain Naeemi.
Sarfraz Ahmed Naeemi gave fatwa that the suicide attacks are haram and he was against the Qadianis.

"A 4 inch human (Appear to be a female) like alien found alive during the digging of an Old house Lahore , Who was moving around and later caught and later injured by little kids . he was moving and jumping untill caught by locals and then killed by people trying to capture that in bottle , news spread rapidly across the town and alot of people gathered to witness that tiny creature , his skin is quickly getting burned up as temperature is arounf 40-45 Degree celcius in Lahore these days , many people are pressing authorities for medical checkup to know the facts "
I'm reminded of the 'alien flying creature' of Brazil last year. ... this alien that they claim come from outer space? especially in a old house? ...

French police have opened an investigation into the apparent suicide of actress Lucy Gordon.
The British actress - who appeared in movies including Spider-Man 3, Frost and Serendipity - was found dead at her Paris apartment on Wednesday, just two days before her 29th birthday.
The Times of London reported on Thursday that Gordon hanged herself. Her body was found at her apartment at la Rue des Petites Ecuries after her boyfriend, who was reportedly asleep in the apartment when Gordon killed herself, alerted a nearby shopkeeper.
The actress is believed to have been devastated after the recent suicide of a close friend in the U.K.
Gordon's father, Richard, spoke out on Friday, to put an end to speculation over the circumstances of 28-year-old Gordon's death by confirming two suicide notes had been found at her Paris home - one written to her parents and the other outlining her wishes for the disposal of her estate.
He said: "There is no question of foul play. Lucy committed suicide."
Gordon recently finished filming on a biopic of singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg in which she played British actress Jane Birkin. Trailers for the movie were shown at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week.
